In this episode your host Tony D'Angelo interviews, Alonzo Jones.  Alonzo Jones, Associate Dean of Students at Arizona State University, has spent 25 years in higher education, managing and creating programs that support the academic, personal and cultural development of students. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from ASU and a Masters in Developmental Education from Texas State University.

In service to ASU, Alonzo is leading a university-wide effort to elevate engagement in culturally related programs and events across the university, is a member of the A. Wade Smith Memorial Lecture on Race Relations, Chair for the Public Safety Advisory Council, and University Chair of the Committee for Campus Inclusion.

Outside of ASU, Alonzo is a highly skilled public speaker, with appearances at more than 70 high schools, colleges and universities to over one hundred thousand students. The client list of his entrepreneurial endeavors includes municipalities, universities, the NCAA and NFL. He is also an author and owner of several businesses including a web design and social media marketing company, a national event listing website with a complementary IOS and Droid app, and an online media platform showcasing the work and achievements of emerging and established intellectuals, writers, and artists. He has received multiple awards for service, including the ASU College of Liberal Arts Distinctive Alumni Award, the Ned Tibby College Board Scholarship of Excellence, and the NAACP Roy Wilkins Service Award.
